This place is the best! My son has a 2017 Toyota Tacoma and a bearing was whining on the rear axle. Bryan and Andy took great care of the truck and it’s now as quiet as new! Even cost less than I was quoted.

Absolutely the worst repair shop I’ve dealt with. Zero organization & communication. I was told it would be approx 4 weeks lead time if I brought a loose, disassembled axle in. After almost 6 weeks & me contacting them every time, waiting for correct seals it was finished without the slightest concern for poor customer service. Additionally nothing discussed at checkout about an additional 3% tacked on for using credit card.

The kia dealership in Clearwater was worthless. The next so called repair shop was worthless also. Went to ⚙️ gearworks. Bryan was very professional and honest. My 2020 stingergt2 is now running like new. . Thank you for a positive experience. I would recommend them to anyone.

Fantastic work at a fair price. My F150 differential had a symphony of noises after 180k+ miles, and after a rebuild is now quiet as when it was new. Judging by their backlog (2 months when I first stopped in), the word is out about this shop. Highly recommended.

Bryan is awesome!! Very honest and trustworthy. I thought my rear bearing was going bad. My boyfriend called these guys and they said it would be around $1000 to fix it but to bring it by so they could see what it needed. I took it there and Bryan test drove it and said the bearing wasn't bad. He could have easily told me it was and charged me that amount. I will definitely come back here when my truck needs work done.

Brian helped me out on short-notice and got the work done faster than expected! I needed my rear diff looked at before I drove down to Miami with only ~3 hours notice; and they did me right. I've had differential fluid changes here and even had my 2013 Raptor's gears swapped over with Nitro Gear 4.88s. They always do their work quickly and to excellent quality!

Highly recommended! I bought a used Jeep and a month after the purchase I started hearing a noise from the rear end. I checked around and I found Gearworks is the only local shop that specializes in what I consider to be the dark art of setting up gears. The owner Andy and his employee Bryon found my rear end's ring and pinion had broken teeth and the ratio didn't match that of my front end. Andy had a ring and pinion in stock that matched my front end ratio and had me back on the road in about two hours. Andy and Bryon are both Jeep owners and Jeep enthusiasts. They were very knowledgeable and friendly; they took time to explain to me what they were doing to my Jeep and they charged a fair price. I intend to do upgrades to my Jeep in the future and I will return to Gearworks. Shops and men like these are a treasure to the Tampa Bay Area and to Jeep enthusiasts (I'm sure they're just as competent working on other types of vehicles as well).

Update: The Detroit Locker continues to work perfectly in the Jeep; I am completely satisfied. I bought a Nissan Titan that came with an open differential. I became tired of the lack of traction and had Gear Works install a True Trac differential 6 months ago. The increase in traction is fantastic. I should've had this installed years ago. The differential does it's job silently. Gear Works did the job in an afternoon. I stand by my recommendation of this business.

Finally, an honest shop. These guys know what they're doing. Very pleased with work on my 5.13s on my 2014 ram 2500 6.4L. There quite. I had ordered the master install kit when dropping truck off, they noticed right away, let me know and overnighted new kit. Very professional service manager as well, thank you bryon
