I have just completed the 'electronic music producer' course and have to say that this is highly recommended for anyone who wants to make a first track, regardless of whether you have any prior knowledge or not. All topics are covered, from a rough idea to a fully finished song, mixed and mastered.
The lessons are given by Pascal (and Arne) and they explain everything in a simple and clear way. All lessons are also recorded and remain available for life, so if you get started yourself you can always look back at a topic.
With all the knowledge and workflows that I have now learned, I started making my first track myself and these will soon be discussed during the 1-on-1 sessions, which are included in the lessons!
I used to be involved with music a lot in my younger years, but I always got lost and never got further than playing with samples. Now I have really learned a whole workflow and the step towards a serious approach has been taken.
Tnx for that Tapelab!

My wife and I needed a recording studio for making an audio version of a children's book called "De Droomjungle". Tapelab / Pascal Oorts did an excellent job. Very professional, quick and friendly. Our budget was limited but it all worked out.

Four months later, I recorded the first 9 episodes of my podcast 'Funkland' at Tapelab. Pascal was a big help and the result was awesome.

I can really recommend Tapelab if you're planning a studio recording, either it's a podcast or a music recording. Pascal is very professional.

I approached Pascal at Tapelab out of the blue about recording a little novelty song and we had a productive initial chat about it. He handled the project attentively and very professionally, and we managed to record the song the following week within a few hours. No time was wasted in the studio thanks to Pascal's well-honed production skills. He can certainly make your project happen. Highly recommended!

Pascal is a true professional and a great guide for any artist who wants to sound better. His passion for music is unmistakable and besides his industry skills, he has a talent to break down complicated concepts into digestible pieces. He helped me see the light on a mix I was struggling with. What would probably have taken me months to find out on my own, all came together after a couple of sessions with Pascal.

Pascal weet als geen ander Ableton uit te leggen. Zo'n gestructureerde leraar heb ik nog niet veel gehad. Hij zorgt er ook voor dat iedereen mee is met de materie.
Een absolute aanrader!

Pascal embodies an amiable and collaborative personality that makes working with him a pleasure. His extensive musical knowledge extends well beyond his affinity for pop music, a fact he aptly demonstrated when collaborating on my alternative electronic pop record. Notably, Pascal is also a great coach; he attentively absorbs your concerns and requirements, curating a tailored plan that seamlessly aligns with your creative process.

Pascal Oorts not only has an in-depth knowledge of Ableton Live, but also knows how to convey this knowledge in a compelling and understandable way, and he masters the art of inspiring teaching. His video lessons are structured, clear and rich in practical examples that take the learning experience to the next level. Before, I felt overwhelmed by the complexity of the program, but thanks to his masterful guidance, I am now completely at ease and able to let my creativity run wild.

What really sets this course apart is Pascal Oorts' genuine commitment to his students. The encouragement emails he regularly sends are not only motivating, but also testify to his dedication to seeing his students grow. Moreover, his responsiveness to emails for help or questions reflects his dedicated support.
