Awkward Coffee is a unique pop-punk themed coffee shop in Los Angeles that embraces the beauty of being a little bit awkward.Founded by three women with different backgrounds but a shared love for coffee and helping others.

They specialize in drip, iced, nitro brew, and cold brew coffee. Whether you're looking to relax, work or looking for a great spot for breakfast, lunch, or an afternoon snack, they have indoor and outdoor seating and FREE WiFi.

We tried a couple of the cold drinks. Love the cute unique coffee names!

Bittersweet Memories which has tiramisu syrup, cold brew concentrate and topped with chocolate powder. I switched out milk for almond milk. Tasted great, especially towards the bottom so I suggest stirring before drinking.

Butterbeer Latte is a butterscotch latte topped with a butterscotch foam. Tasted great! It wasn’t too strong in the butterscotch taste.

They weren’t overly sweet. Just the way I like it. You can get them in a hot version as well. They also have drip coffee and smoothies. Love the notes they write on the cup!

Trystan at Awkward Coffee is absolutely amazing! Not only does she provide exceptional service with a friendly and professional attitude, but she’s also incredibly attractive, which makes every visit even better. She has a way of making customers feel welcome and valued, and her attention to detail is top notch.

The only downside is that Awkward Coffee isn’t open long enough I’d love to visit more often if the hours were extended. Great coffee, great atmosphere, and outstanding service from Trystan. Highly recommend!

we both got lattes. I have no idea what type of beans they use but its too bitter and has high acidity; milk wasn’t steamed correctly as well.
Place is clean and has comfortable seating, wifi and plenty of outlets, parking is available.

Love the artwork on the walls. The girls making the drinks and food were so sweet and I loved chatting with them. The butterscotch latté was so delicious. Awesome little spot for coffees or smoothies and small breakfast sammies. Highly recommend.

Love the vibe of this place and the humans working here. The person helping my mom and I was so kind this morning. My mom thought her iced mocha latte was too sweet, so she asked for more milk and they gave her more milk and apologized. No apologies were necessary as sweetness is a personal preference, but they were so respectful and nice to my senior mom that it melted my heart. Good humans work here and we’ll definitely be back!

They also don’t charge extra for milk alternatives.

Definitely different from most coffee shops and I like it. It’s not a place to get work done or even stay long,(unless punk music soothes your soul and helps you focus, it is a great place to grab your coffee and go though. Super fast and managed to keep the art on my Matcha Latte. Also, their matcha is from Japan which makes a huge difference. Will be back for their coffee!

Cool atmosphere, the coffee was strong lol. I got the butter beer latte half sweet with almond milk and it was not too bad. I’ll probably try something else next time though. For food I got a banana loaf but was hoping they had breakfast sandwiches ? Overall I think I would go back if I’m on that side of the valley!
