An ultra curated record store in Manhattan. While I didn’t really like any of the curated sections I appreciated the uniqueness. If you are looking for used mainstream rock or 60-90’s stuff do not go here. If you are looking for indie and hard to find vinyl this is the place.

The name says it all! This is not Barnes & Noble or Wal-Mart, this is the real deal when it comes to one of a kind, hard to find, rare and out of pressing vinyl and music. The owner is amazing, the atmosphere is chill, prices are fair and quality of used items is TOP CLASS so buy with confidence. There are items found in this store that have never even been sold online at EBAY, Discog's and in some cases, don't even exist on sites, that's how limited this place truly is. You’re talking punk, hardcore, deep-cut obscurities, screamo, emo—if it’s raw and rare, it’s here. The records? Immaculate. Each one’s cleaned, taken care of, and priced like they actually care about the people digging through their bins. And the guy who runs this place? The real deal. Best store best folks. NYC has been lacking a go to store for me for awhile but Limited to One has something for everyone. New Releases , rare pressings , white label copies , singles and so much more. I have been collecting vinyl for 20+ years across all genres and will always find something to buy ! My wallet may not like it but my turntable does! Don’t be afraid to ask the owners for recommendations they are the best! Always a nice escape from the day to day when I come into LTO! Awesome guys !

A big selection of cassette tapes, mostly new editions from contemporary artists. Mainly underground and alternative music, though. Weak selection of used ones, and those are over-priced. But drop by if you’re looking for a selection of tapes.

Pretty small place but it has a nice diverse selection. The owner is super friendly. There are mostly vinyls but there’s a small selection of cassettes and $5 cds. Definitely check this place out.

This is the place of dreams. If you fancy yourself a fan of roots style screamo/emo/punk/hardcore (or really anything) you'll always find something you're looking for. Kristian and staff are all stand-up folks and knowledgeable about the good sonic stuff (and then some). If you have rare vinyl to sell to a breathing brick and mortar store, Limited To One NYC is the spot.
