My family LOVES this used book store. The books are all fairly and cheaply priced. It is all organized well and the employees are kind and helpful. They have good books and board games that I had never seen before. My daughter wants to go there every weekend even at 13yrs old. This place is definitely a 5/5.

I visited this terrific bookstore while on vacation. Turns out that I researched a bookstore that my family had already decided to take me. First off, the store is massive and that had shopping carts! The shelves are chock full of pretty much any type of genre you are looking to enjoy. I ran into two small hiccups however; the single touchscreen table used for book searches and that fact that even of the book was listed in the system, it may not be in the store. Luckily I came armed with a long list of books I wanted to purchase. I made two trips over as many days as the first day I didn't have enough time. As you can see from the picture, I did pretty good even though several titles I wanted weren't in the store.

First time there and I loved it. I've been to other second hand book stores but this is by the far the most organized and well kept second hand bookstore I've been to. I went in with a list of books I was looking for my kids and came out with all of them, plus some. I left with 15 books and only paid $30 total, so an average of $2 a book!. I loved the fact that they had stations where you could type in the title or author you were looking for and it would tell you where you could find them. Everything was rightfully in its place and majority of the books were in great condition! They have a ton of other fun things likes puzzles, DVDs, games and toys. Will definitely be coming back for more.

McKay’s Bookstore is a local treasure! I have spent hours in there browsing the books. Their sci fi and fantasy sections are quite robust with many current and out of print editions. The prices range from amazing to competitive - and in any case, always good to support your local independent booksellers!

My son and I go about once a month and trade in several books we are done with. We always take the trade vs cash. McKay’s really is a bibliophile’s dream and I am so grateful they are nearby!

An awesome selection of pre-read books, plus a random assortment of toys, games, and music. They might wanna get their restroom fixed though, 'cuz that sign looks pretty old.

I love this place. I prefer to go here, instead of the big box bookstores. But today I am super annoyed. I traded in some books to get some store credit and I got my voucher. I went to the register she rang me up told me the price and I was surprised because I should’ve gotten seven dollars off. She forgot to scan the voucher I gave her. so I had to pay full price and I’m annoyed because it was right in front of you and you didn’t scan it. And then I asked her if she could just re-ring everything up and she said no I’m sorry I can’t and that was that. Now I’m debating if I want to come back here because I’m so pissed off. I love this store, and this experience ruined it for me.

This place is book lovers' paradise! And it is such a treat to have a place it in PWC!

Great selection. Awesome prices! One could spend hours here just browsing and picking up books you don't need but gotta have because of the low prices. ?

Very large bookstore with something for everyone at a very affordable price! These books are very low in price and with being able to trade in books for in store credit it feels even cheaper!

I was able to trade in a whole box of books and they had gone through them in 10 minutes. I was able to use the in store credit very easily as the staff are so helpful!

If you are going to be turning in books then make sure to check out their website and they don’t take classroom books.
